Our mission is to eliminate water bottles in developed countries, but it’s important to remember that in many developing countries, clean water is not an option.
As many as 663 million people in the world still live without clean water. That’s nearly one person in ten and double the population of the entire United States. Most live in rural areas and spend hours every day walking to collect water for their families. The burden of collecting water keeps children out of school. It wastes time that parents could use to earn money—and the water often carries diseases that can make everyone sick.
That’s why we will be donating a portion of our revenue to Charity:Water, a non-profit organization that’s making a huge difference in millions of lives by providing wells for clean water in developing countries.
Every time someone fills their water bottle, they help to build wells of clean waters where they are most needed. Access to clean water means education, income and health—especially for women and kids.
So drink up and give back.
